The quieter we are on here, the more likely we are to be surrounded by flowers with a cup of tea we’ve forgotten to drink 😂🌸
It’s been a crazy few weeks at Little Bloomers, and before anything else, we are completely SOLD OUT this weekend. That includes tomorrow. We’re back taking orders on Monday 🤍
We ordered more flowers than we expected to need this week, thinking we’d given ourselves a little breathing room. Then the orders kept coming, and you had other ideas!
What’s been especially lovely is seeing familiar names alongside so many new ones.
Our regular customers who come back for birthdays, anniversaries, difficult days and those “just because” moments. People who tell a friend about us. New customers who take a chance on a little independent florist they haven’t used before.
Then there are the orders coming from overseas, from people trusting us to deliver something special to someone they can’t be with themselves.
When you’re miles away and can’t turn up at the door with a hug, the flowers you send matter. Being trusted with that is something we really do appreciate.
I’m not entirely sure how some of you are finding us, but whatever is happening, please keep it up 😂
And then there was London…
We were asked to personally deliver flowers all the way to London, with the customer happy to cover the journey and our time to make it happen.
I genuinely never imagined someone would want our flowers enough to ask us to travel that far. That gave us a bit of a moment 😳🤍
Meanwhile, Christmas is already making itself very much at home behind the scenes. There’s preparation underway, alongside some larger projects we’re working on that I’m looking forward to sharing when we can.
So if we’ve been a little quiet, that’s where we’ve been. Making, planning, delivering and occasionally remembering that we should probably put something on Facebook!
We have another busy week ahead, so please book in advance wherever possible. You don’t need to know exactly which flowers you want before getting in touch. We can help with that part.
The hardest bit of being fully booked is having to say no. We know there’s often a person, an occasion or a whole lot of feeling behind the request.
But there are just two of us behind every bouquet. Each one is carefully arranged and tied by hand, and we want every order to receive the time, care and attention it deserves.
That’s why we sometimes have to close the diary earlier than we’d like.
Quality over quantity, always.
