Only a few days to go! 🎉📀. Orpington Record Fair returns this coming Saturday 1st Aug for our Summer fair at St Nicholas Church Hall, Leamington Ave, Orpington. Some great new items & collections coming along this time, and 'Sleeve It Out' will be there as always with sleeves, mailers, cases & all kinds of products to care for your records. This will be our last fair at St. Nicholas, so don't miss it - you'll find bargains, rarities, and of course Wendy's kitchen for tea & toasties to keep you going. We're open from 09.30-3.30pm, with plenty of free parking on surrounding roads. We are FREE entry all day! Hope to see you Sat 📀🎧👍

Morning all - big thanks as always for a bumper turn-out for June's record fair, a fun and busy day as always. Join us for our last fair at St Nicholas Church on Sat 1st Aug before our big 'homecoming' return to Crofton Halls. We're aiming to go out in style from St Nicks...should be a fun day. Hope to see you all on 1st Aug. Have a good and safe few weeks in the meantime - hope you can all find some shade...and don't leave your records in the sun! Cheers all 😎👋

So...looking forward to a Crofton return 😊.
Our remaining dates for this year are for St. Nicholas: Saturdays 6th June and 1st Aug, and then at Crofton Halls for Sat Oct 17th.
All Crofton 2027 dates are on the flyer below. There will be plenty of reminders for all of these dates!
I've decided to keep the fair at every other month, which gives our sellers time to turn-over stock, and for you guys to re-charge your wallets 🤣. Saturday's are working incredibly well for us, and most other people. There will of course be some who would rather a Sunday, but bearing in mind that our attendance has rocketed on a Sat, the decision was kind of made for me.
It will now of course be back to being a bigger fair, with more sellers, and more room to move around. We're also back to being next to the train station - hurray!
Parking - CH now have a pay-to-park system, with cameras. BUT, there will be 3 x hours free parking for our customers. You just have to enter your car reg into the keypad in the entrance lobby.
I have decided to lose the 'early entry' £5 fee. The official entry time is 09.30 as usual, but I don't mind people coming in when ALL of the dealers are set up. This will be fair on everyone. Please wait until I give the go-ahead...cheers all.
I am putting up the normal entry fee by a (measly) pound 😉...to a couple of quid. This will help enable me to pay the increased rent that the hall is now charging. Before anyone leaps to a keypad, let me re-affirm - this small amount goes STRAIGHT to CH to help with rent, not to me or anyone else. And thank you - it's only a coupla-quid but it keeps the fair going, as it has for thirty years or so.
So - feels like we're going home...hope you can all come with us.

Hi all - here's the announcement that many of you have asked about, and from the sounds of it , looked forward to! First and foremost, our last two fairs at St. Nicholas are this Sat 6th June, and Sat Aug 1st. After that...well...see below! 😊🎉. All the new dates for our big Crofton return tomorrow, and questions answered regarding parking (free!), hours etc. We look forward to welcoming you back to a bigger fair with easier transport links. Thank you to everyone who came along to our Record Fair in April - another great day, and another wonderful turn-out. We all appreciate your support (some of you have been regulars for decades...yes, we've been going that long). Looking forward to the next one already😊. Talking of which, the date for your diary is Sat 6th June. Can't wait. See you all in 3 and a bit weeks 📀🎧✌️. One day to go! Hope to see you on Sat folks - really looking forward to this one, lots of interesting items coming along, and the welcome return of a couple of Crofton Hall regulars that you may not have seen for a while (who always have good stuff 😊). On a personal note, I've just picked up a nice mint/unplayed 80s LP collection, and a small but perfectly formed Soul 7" collection of early 70s US and UK, alongside a few Northern Soul 7s including a hard to find Nolan Porter. Few new Punk 7s as usual, including the one-sided Pistols Submission. Hope you can make it along - we kick off at 09.30, and we're open 'til 3.30pm at St Nicholas Church, Orpington, BR6 9QB 👍📀🎧
