Schoolblazer is proud to be the official supplier of uniform and sportswear for Newcastle-under-Lyme School!

The new uniform marks an evolution of the school’s current look, introducing fresh details while staying true to its identity and traditions. A new plaid has been introduced across the uniform, featuring on the girls’ kilt, which has permanent pleats, as well as the boys’ tie.

The new look is completed by a smart wool blazer, designed and developed in the UK. Lined for comfort and featuring two internal pockets, it combines practicality with a timeless school aesthetic. Alongside this, the charcoal V-neck with its distinctive red stripe reflects the school’s colours and branding, creating a coordinated look across the collection.

There’s no better measure of our service than hearing directly from the people who use it.

Following this summer’s back-to-school season, we received some fantastic comments through our customer survey - from praise for the quality and durability of our garments, to fast delivery, convenience and our free name-taping service.

Feedback like this means a lot to us, particularly during the busiest time of year, when parents need to know they can rely on their uniform provider.

Back-to-school is a busy time for families, so we know how important it is to have one less thing to worry about.

This year, we’re proud to have achieved over 99% availability, with 100% of orders dispatched within 48 hours or less. Almost three-quarters of those orders also included our free name-taping service, helping make getting ready for term that little bit easier.

Our latest customer survey showed that fewer than 2% of customers were dissatisfied, and our 4.9 Trustpilot score reflects the service we work hard to deliver.

From making sure the right sizes are in stock to getting orders packed, named and on their way quickly, everything we do is designed to make back-to-school simpler for parents and families.

Intern Spotlight: Imogen

As her year with Schoolblazer comes to an end, we’re taking the opportunity to celebrate our Buying Intern and everything she has achieved during her time with us.

Over the past year, she has gained a real insight into the fast-paced world of buying, taking on a wide range of responsibilities and becoming a valued part of the team. From crest approvals and SKU creation to ordering samples, she has developed a strong understanding of the detail that goes into bringing our products to life.

One of the highlights of her placement was attending The London Textile Fair, where she met suppliers and learned more about how fabrics are developed and manufactured.

Her favourite project saw her take ownership of helping a school update an existing dress design. This involved competitor shopping, presenting her findings and working closely with suppliers and internal teams to bring the ideas to life.

Most importantly, her year with Schoolblazer has confirmed her ambition to pursue a career in buying.

It has been a pleasure having her as part of the team, and we’ll be very sorry to see her go. We wish her the very best for her final year and whatever comes next!

Meet the Designer: Charlie

Meet one of the newest members of our design team, who joined Schoolblazer in April 2026.

With a background in Fine Art and a degree in Graphic Design, creativity has always played a big part in his life. From large-scale palette knife paintings and photography to product and graphic design, he has always enjoyed experimenting with different ways to bring ideas to life.

Before joining Schoolblazer, he worked across a wide range of digital and print design projects, developing his Adobe Creative Suite skills and exploring his creative style.

Looking for an opportunity to push his creativity further and combine his interests in design, fashion and clothing, Schoolblazer felt like a great fit.

His favourite part of the role so far is sublimation design. He particularly enjoys creating sportswear patterns from scratch, drawing inspiration from sports, trends, events and different textures to produce designs that make people look twice.

Meet the Designer: Sam Lewis

Creativity has always been at the heart of Sam's career. After discovering a passion for graphic design at a young age, he studied Graphic Design at Norwich University of the Arts, specialising in publishing design.

After joining Schoolblazer in 2024, Sam has combined those design foundations with cutting-edge technology, spending the past two years spearheading our transition from traditional 2D CADs to AI-powered 3D garment visualisation.

By creating hundreds of highly realistic garment visualisations, Sam enables schools to see exactly how their uniform will look long before the first physical sample is produced. It's a technically demanding process, involving accurate colour matching, garment customisation and continuous refinement as products evolve, but the results help schools visualise their new uniform with greater confidence throughout the design journey. It also reduces the need for multiple physical samples, helping to speed up development, reduce costs and minimise waste.

For Sam, the most rewarding part of the role is seeing a design evolve from a flat 2D concept into a finished garment worn with pride by pupils.

It's a great example of how creativity, technology and innovation are helping Schoolblazer redefine the future of school uniform design.

We hope all our schools are enjoying a well-deserved and relaxing summer holiday ☀️

At Boundary Oak School, the uniform has been thoughtfully designed to grow with its pupils. A distinctive plaid features throughout the collection, appearing across different garments as pupils progress through the school. Paired with navy knitwear featuring gold trims, and complemented in the senior years by a smart navy polywool blazer finished with elegant gold piping. The uniform creates a cohesive identity that reflects the school's heritage while evolving with pupils at every stage of their journey.
