First lambs for 2026, a little earlier than expected!

As we close out 2025, time to reflect on what a year it’s been!
2025, the year we restocked the farm with sheep, cattle, (including our first pedigree Hereford’s) even a few chickens!

We also completed our shepherd hut which has been really busy and well received by our guests.

Next years goals are just as ambitious!

Our cows are coming inside for their annual winter retreat! ❄️

Why the move? It’s all about health and welfare! We bring our herd inside to keep them dry, safe, and warm during the cold and wet weather. Plus, this is crucial for soil health! Keeping heavy hoof traffic off saturated pastures in the winter protects the soil structure from compaction and poaching!
