🏡 Another one completed in Launton!

We headed back to this bungalow today to fit the final bedroom and get the whole job wrapped up. ✅

The lounge and two bedrooms have been fitted in Cormar Primo Ultra – Nougat, with Elements Inspirations – Limed Oak LVT running through the hallway, kitchen and dining room.

Everything has been finished off with premium black door bars, tying in perfectly with the black details throughout the property. 👌

A great combination of carpet and LVT, and the finished result looks spot on throughout!

There’s something about a well-fitted herringbone carpet that just feels that little bit more special.

For this project we fitted a designer-style herringbone carpet throughout three bedrooms, the stairs and landing, finishing it off with brushed light bronze thresholds for a clean, premium look.

It’s often the little details that make the biggest difference. Taking the time to line the pattern up properly, achieving neat finishes around every doorway, and choosing threshold bars that complement the carpet rather than stand out.

“Do you fit click LVT?”

It’s a question we’re asked quite regularly…

The honest answer is no.

Not because we can’t fit it, but because we’ve made the decision to specialise in glue-down LVT.

Over the years, we’ve seen too many click floors develop issues with joints separating, boards becoming damaged and the floor not performing as they should.

This video is from a click LVT floor we recently lifted which was fitted by another company. Instead of the planks coming up cleanly, they simply broke apart in our hands. That’s not something we see with a quality glue-down LVT installation.

A glue-down LVT floor takes more preparation and more time to install, but we believe the end result is well worth it. When the subfloor is prepared properly and the flooring is professionally fitted, you’re left with a floor that’s built to last.

We’re not interested in taking shortcuts or fitting products we wouldn’t be happy to have in our own homes.

Sometimes saying no to a job is the right thing to do.

Some jobs speak for themselves… this is one of them.

This home was transformed with Elements Inspirations Holm Oak, fitted throughout the open-plan kitchen, lounge, playroom, hallway and downstairs toilet.

Before a single plank went down, we prepared the floor by latexing directly over the existing ceramic tiles, creating a smooth, solid base for a finish that’s built to last.

We don’t usually include a free model with every installation, but Dougie couldn’t resist making himself at home. 😂

It’s the preparation you don’t always see that makes the biggest difference, and it’s something we’ll never cut corners on.

A simple job, but one that makes a big difference.

We fitted Textures LVT in Tudor Oak throughout this bedroom and adjoining cupboard.

The darker oak finish adds plenty of character without making the room feel closed in, and by continuing the flooring into the cupboard, the whole space has a clean, seamless finish.

We’ve left the skirting boards off ready for the carpenter to fit new ones, giving the room a crisp finish once the renovation is complete.

Another tidy installation, completed with care and attention to detail from start to finish.

This one was a proper transformation.

Before the new floor could go down, we plywooded the entire subfloor with 6mm plywood and latexed it throughout to create a solid, level base. It’s the part of the job most people never see, but it’s what makes all the difference to the finished result.

We then fitted Karndean Van Gogh (VGW8116) throughout the lounge, hallway, office, kitchen, dining room and utility, giving the whole ground floor a seamless finish that flows from room to room.

Jobs like this take a bit more preparation, but it’s always worth doing it properly. A great finish from start to finish.

We fitted this cottage with Cormar Primo Tweed in Indian Ruby across two bedrooms, stairs, and the lounge — and it really brings the whole place to life.

The rich red tone works perfectly with the exposed beams and original features, adding warmth and depth while still keeping that traditional feel. It’s a great choice for cottages like this where you want something that stands out but still suits the property.

Primo Tweed is also a solid, hard-wearing carpet, ideal for stairs and everyday use — so it’s not just about looks, it’s built to last as well.

Some tricky areas on this one with the winding staircase and older layout, but all finished off clean and fitted properly throughout.
