We fitted this cottage with Cormar Primo Tweed in Indian Ruby across two bedrooms, stairs, and the lounge — and it really brings the whole place to life.

The rich red tone works perfectly with the exposed beams and original features, adding warmth and depth while still keeping that traditional feel. It’s a great choice for cottages like this where you want something that stands out but still suits the property.

Primo Tweed is also a solid, hard-wearing carpet, ideal for stairs and everyday use — so it’s not just about looks, it’s built to last as well.

Some tricky areas on this one with the winding staircase and older layout, but all finished off clean and fitted properly throughout.

We fitted Cormar Fairisle in Fleece across the stairs, landing, and two bedrooms, creating a soft, warm feel throughout the upper floor.

Downstairs, the lounge was completed in Karndean Van Gogh – Neutral Brushed Oak, adding a natural wood look that’s both stylish and hard-wearing.

A great combination of comfort upstairs and durability downstairs, all finished with a clean, consistent fit throughout.

Bespoke Staircase & Landing Installation

This recent project was a little different to our usual work and a great example of how mixing materials can really elevate a space when it’s done right.

We fitted Primo Ultra stair treads in Raven, paired with Karndean Knight Tile Lime Washed Oak on the risers — creating a striking contrast while keeping the staircase practical, durable, and easy to maintain.

The landing was carefully split to define each area. The section by the stairs continues in Primo Ultra Raven, while the main landing seamlessly links through from the bathroom using Karndean Van Gogh Croftmore Oak laid in a herringbone design. This approach keeps the flow of the home consistent while clearly defining each zone.

A well-thought-out design, finished with precision and attention to detail throughout.
