To answer last weeks post this part is called the Diffuser which is a part of the car's aerodynamics.

The purpose of a diffuser is to allow what's called "pressure recovery" more commonly known as Bernoulli's principle. This helps the car achieve more downforce putting more vertical grip on the tyres thereby creating more speed.

Can anyone guess what this part is or where it goes on the car?
