My first fair of the Christmas Season - Abingdon Traditional Craft Fair is fast approaching at the Abingdon Abbey Buildings on 31st Oct - 2nd Nov - really looking forward to it!

This month is my 6th Anniversary stocking and helping run the wonderful Arbery Emporium 🥳 and what an incredible 6 years its been working with the fantastic team of Helen Bolton, Chrissy Taylor and Wendy Dobbenie and all of the amazing artisans past and present - we have navigated the covid nightmare, expanded the emporium, met so many amazing and talented artisans, expanded again with the crafty bit on the side - the shop has gone through ups and downs but still we go from strength to strength. Here's to many more years and a peak at what's in store ... pop in for a look 👀

A little while ago I was given a tray of broken glass pieces that was once a beautiful free standing fused glass panel. It was an engagement gift that had fallen from a quite a height and held great sentimental value. The original panel had been curved which posed a bit of a problem because none of the pieces quite fitted back together.
I re-fused the pieces separately to flatten them and pieced the puzzle back together on a clear glass backings, framed with an antique re-purposed oak frame and bespoke mahogany stand. Very relieved the owners were happy with the finished piece!
