COMICOIN PZ TURNS ONE 🎉
Yesterday marked 1 year since our Penzance store's official opening. It's been a fantastic year, and we're so grateful to be have met so many locals and holiday makers alike, many of whom we are proud to call regulars.
We have massively expanded our stock offering: more graphic novels, manga, toys and an impressive line of TCGs, including MTG, Lorcana, Riftbound, and more, in addition to the original Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh line-up. Our comic selection has doubled from 18,000 comics when we opened, to now 36,000+ (and counting)!
It hasn't been without its challenges; opening a new store is never without teething issues, and processing over 15,000 new comics is a massive undertaking in terms of man-hours and storage planning. Most recently, we lost our first ever customer, my beloved Nan. She was a big influence on the store's opening and played a significant part in me becoming an entrepreneur. Her joyful spirit lives on through the shop itself, and is what drives me to take it even further for future generations to enjoy.
We'd like to thank everyone who supported us, from the one-off gift purchases, holiday makers to our very much appreciated regulars. Here's to many more years of great stories and memories to come!
