Hi, I’m Emma, the founder of Cherry Tree Lounge.

Cherry Tree Lounge is more than just a business idea. It’s a vision I’ve carefully created, a calm, elegant space designed to bring people together and offer a true escape from the busy pace of everyday life.

Inspired by traditional British tea culture and the delicate beauty of cherry blossom, Cherry Tree Lounge will be a place where time slows down. A place filled with soft pastel tones, warm lighting, and thoughtful details that create a sense of comfort, nostalgia, and quiet luxury.

A Personal Note

This journey hasn’t been straightforward.

Over the past year, I’ve taken real steps towards opening Cherry Tree Lounge, including exploring funding opportunities and even having early conversations about securing a physical location. Those moments made the dream feel incredibly close.

However, due to unexpected financial setbacks and ongoing health challenges, I’ve had to pause and take a step back. I’m currently awaiting major surgery, which means my timeline has shifted, but not my vision.

If anything, this experience has made me even more determined to build something meaningful. Cherry Tree Lounge represents a fresh start for me, a future I’m working towards with hope, resilience, and passion.

My goal is to open the doors by early 2027, creating not just a business, but a new chapter in life.

Your support means more than just funding, it helps keep this dream moving forward during a time where progress has been difficult, but belief has never gone away.

Tea lovers! 🌿 Let’s talk about the perfect brew.

While we are busy tasting and curating the absolute perfect speciality teas for our future menu, we wanted to share a little knowledge to elevate your morning cup at home! 🫖

Getting the best flavour and comfort from your herbal teas is a bit of a science.

Here are three tips for the perfect herbal infusion:
Water Temperature: Unlike black teas, most herbal blends love a rolling boil! Pouring water right off the boil helps extract those beautiful essential oils from the herbs and flowers.

Patience is Key: Herbal teas need time to bloom. Let them steep for a full 5 to 7 minutes to unlock their deepest flavours and comforting benefits.
Keep it Covered: If you're brewing in a mug, pop a saucer on top while it steeps! This keeps the natural, aromatic oils from evaporating with the steam.

We are practicing these exact steps as we design our future traditional afternoon tea experience. 🌸
