The Chatty Cafe Scheme UK has been on hold for us as we settle in to our new premises. We will be running this again very soon once our kitchen at Cobble and Hay is ready. If you would like to be a chatty volunteer please sign up!

The Chatty Café Scheme is growing rapidly, and with a surge in new venue registrations across the UK, we’re looking for friendly, welcoming volunteers to help get the conversations started.

As a Chatty Café Table Volunteer, you’ll offer a warm smile, a listening ear, and help create a space where people feel comfortable to connect. Most volunteering opportunities are just a few hours a week and can often fit around your existing commitments.

It’s a simple role that can make a huge difference to someone’s day – and it’s incredibly rewarding too.

We are at today.... just on the cobbles outside where the chocolate room is now based.

Lots of yummy treats! Please bear in mind the 10k road race is on in Port Sunlight so the village is expected to be buzzing with thousands of visitors and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day.

If you’re coming along, please allow extra travel time as some road closures will be in place for the race. Access to the market at The Stables remains available, and travelling by train is recommended where possible.

Come and enjoy a great day of shopping, food, entertainment, and community spirit, and don’t forget to stop by and say hello!

Wow!! It's nearly here and look at the line up for Sugar and Spice 2026 ... over 50 fabulous stalls. Delicious food from found the world, yummy desserts and treats to spoil yourself and your lovely pooches. We have spices, sauces, jams and chutneys and so many brilliant hand crafted makes. There's even a horsebox cocktail bar!

They're all local lovely independents and we can't wait to get set up this Easter weekend and show them all off!!

Are you excited?! 🤗... we certainly are!!

It's been a while but I had to get out to markets and get on with some chocolate making. The move hasn't quite happened yet but I do have some limited stock that I will be taking to market this weekend and ... and of course....

2026 is back!!! Taking place on Good Friday and Easter Saturday with plenty for families, kids and adults to do!

And just the day after, on Easter Sunday we will have .

Now it would be boring if I did the same stock for each market so I'm going to aim for something different for each stall... watch this space!!

Our feed is a little bit repetitive at the moment as everything is about getting your truffle orders out by tomorrow!

The shop smells gorgeous with christmas spice, chocolate, candy canes and caramel.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at on Saturday and on Sunday.
