Sensory-solutions sensory resources for children little bit about the face behind the products. my name is Michelle, I have 2 children, 11yr old daughter and my 8 yr old son.

I have a background in early years. I'm qualified level 3 in early years education. I also have a keen interest and passion for SEND and have a child myself with additional needs. I have found over the years that visual aids and particular tactile resources can be invaluable in building a relationship between child and adult and also has lots of benefits for the child, weather it be emotionally, physically, mentally, etc. When purchasing products I always found them to be at quite a high price point and decided to try and put together products myself that were more affordable. Thiss has not only been beneficial to some of the children I have worked with over the years but also to myself and my own children at home and at school, not to mention the pride and satisfaction I got from knowing something I had made was helping others. Iv recently left work in early years to become a carer to my youngest child and support him as best I can through his learning journey and in the process thought I may be able to help others with my products and it was then that sensory-solutions was born. please keep checking back to my page to see what's going on and what products are available. I have some ideas for future boards that I'm excited to put together in the coming weeks. If anyone would like a board making up, I'm happy to discuss colour choices and work with you. Prices are dependent on items used and design. I try to keep to a 2 week turnaround time for each board. 😀

IV been away a long time. Lots happening personally and honestly I didnt know if I'd ever be able to get back to the board building. But here we are dipping our toe back in. First board back, taking inso from a friend. Some drying time on this one and then Tommorrow il start mapping out the items ready to attach. Latest board made for a friend.

I'm looking at starting up making these again. Due to costs everywhere rising, boards will be a little extra than before. However the boards are now bigger in size (2ft x2ft). So more for your money. I'm going to make up a set of boards, however for now they will only be available for collection only as I Havant yet sourced packaging large enough to transport via courier. Please do message me if you are Interested or think you may be down the line as this would help me gauge weather it's worth me getting items back in stock to make up the boards.
