I have a background in early years. I'm qualified level 3 in early years education. I also have a keen interest and passion for SEND and have a child myself with additional needs. I have found over the years that visual aids and particular tactile resources can be invaluable in building a relationship between child and adult and also has lots of benefits for the child, weather it be emotionally,
physically, mentally, etc. When purchasing products I always found them to be at quite a high price point and decided to try and put together products myself that were more affordable. Thiss has not only been beneficial to some of the children I have worked with over the years but also to myself and my own children at home and at school, not to mention the pride and satisfaction I got from knowing something I had made was helping others.
