📍 Portsoy is a brilliant place to explore with your dog, with plenty of dog-friendly businesses in the town.

Pop into Portsoy Marble Shop, where dogs are very welcome while you browse Portsoy Marble artefacts, crystals, gemstones, fossils and locally produced art, prints, textiles, jewellery and body products. 🪨 💎

☕️ 🥪 For something to eat, the Port House Cafe and Symposium Coffee House are great dog-friendly stops for breakfast, lunch, snacks and cake, while the Shore Inn Portsoy is a traditional local pub with fantastic views across Portsoy’s historic Old Harbour and coastline. 🍻 🌊

We are looking forward to taking part in Doors Open Days when The Granary in Portsoy will be open alongside Portsoy Marble Shop & Holiday Cottages.

Come and meet the NESPT team and learn more about the plans for The Marbles Creative Hub in Portsoy, explore many of the items we have uncovered in the Warehouse, discover where in the world Portsoy Marble items have travelled to, browse stalls at the RARE Makers Market and more.

The North East Scotland Preservation Trust - NESPT will also be supporting the opening of the Elyza Fraser Mausoleum in Cluny, alongside Friends of Miss Elyza Fraser’s Mausoleum.

From historic buildings and community landmarks to fascinating hidden gems, 55 venues across Aberdeenshire will welcome visitors over the event weekend.

Next Saturday, 29th August, we welcome Jackie Laird to Portsoy Marble who will be showcasing the Temple Spa range of skincare products. 🫧

Jackie will give an introduction to the skincare experiences to enable you to create a spa at home. 🧖🏻‍♀️

Temple Spa is a British company, created by a husband and wife duo over 20 years ago. The products are science based and steeped in Mediterranean influences. They are also cruelty free, vegan and all ingredients are sustainably sourced.

Jackie won’t be carrying a stock of products on the day but will offer the opportunity to order.

🐐 Meet the makers… and the goats who supply the milk! 🧼💛

Susan took a wee trip to Lily & Co Goat Milk Soap recently to collect some fresh stock for the Portsoy Marble Shop – and, of course, it would have been rude not to say hello to the goats while she was there! 🐐🥰
