The v**e tax is coming, but here's what's NOT changing.

There's been a lot of talk about the new Va**ng Products Duty, so let's take the calm view for a moment and remember what stays exactly the same.

First things first: the duty only touches the liquid. So a lot of what you already know carries on just as before.

Your hardware is fine. Devices, coils, tanks and empty pods aren't taxed, so your kit isn't affected. Refilling works exactly as it does now, nothing to relearn. Our service doesn't change either, same three shops, same team, same advice and same next-day delivery. And we'll keep explaining the changes in plain English whenever you want to ask.

It's one change, not a whole new world. A single duty on liquid, and we're here to help you through it.

The v**e tax, part two: what it actually means for you.

Last time we covered the basics of the new Va**ng Products Duty. Here's how it affects different setups.

The key thing to understand is that the duty is based on volume. It's charged per ml of liquid, so the more liquid a product holds, the more duty it carries.

That means it works out differently depending on what you use. A 100ml shortfill holds ten times the liquid of a 10ml bottle, so it carries ten times the duty. A small prefilled pod holds very little, so it's affected the least.

A couple of helpful pointers: stop comparing products by shelf price alone and start looking at the total ml you actually use. And remember hardware isn't taxed, so refillable kits give you more control.

The UK v**e tax is coming. Here's what's actually changing.

From 1 October 2026, a new Va**ng Products Duty (VPD) will be added to all e-liquids sold in the UK. Here are the plain facts:

The duty is £2.20 per 10ml of e-liquid. It applies to every e-liquid, including zero-nicotine, and to nic shots. With 20% VAT added on top, the real increase works out at around £2.64 per 10ml.

The good news: hardware isn't taxed. Devices, coils, tanks and empty pods are unaffected. The duty is on the liquid only.

This is a UK-wide change that applies to every v**e shop, not just us. We'll keep you posted as the date gets closer.
