The days are getting shorter, natural light is changing and suddenly the rooms that felt bright all summer can start to feel a little different.

Your flooring can have a surprisingly big impact on how your home feels throughout the darker months.

Lighter tones can help reflect natural light, warmer shades can make a space feel cosy and inviting, while texture can add depth and interest when there’s less sunlight streaming through the windows.

It’s why we always look at more than just which sample you like best. We’ll consider the room, natural light, existing interiors and how you want the finished space to feel.

Planning a flooring update this autumn? Pop into our Redhill studio and we’ll help you find the perfect fit for your home.

There’s something so satisfying about seeing one beautiful floor flow through an entire home. ✨

This recent LVT installation runs throughout the downstairs of this gorgeous property, creating a seamless feel from the stunning entrance and open-plan spaces through to the hallways, living area, utility room and downstairs bathroom.

Using the same flooring across connecting spaces helps everything feel considered and cohesive, while the natural wood-effect finish brings warmth and character to every room.

And with LVT, it’s not just about how it looks. It’s durable, easy to maintain and practical enough for all those hardworking areas of the home, without compromising on style.

Thinking about new flooring throughout your downstairs? Visit the Taylord Carpets & Flooring Studio in Redhill and let the team help you find something that works beautifully from room to room.
