Not by doing more.

But by coming home to who they already are.

🌺 🐝 Yesterday I had to rush out at lunch time to drop something at my daughter’s school, that I’d forgotten in the chaos of the morning. I started that walk in a rush, hand glued to my phone, multitasking. Trying to cram more in to the day and be more productive. Then I caught myself. I took myself out of my head and brought myself back to the moment I was in. Phone in my pocket, I looked up and noticed these beautiful spring wildflowers that have grown up around the war memorial outside the church. The beautiful bright colours against the grey stone. The bees happily buzzing, disappearing into the delicate yellow petals. It was just a few short moments, but I focused on what I could see and hear, right in front of me. A chance to reset the day, and make my rushed walk something I could enjoy and refresh me, rather than frantically get back to my desk feeling more frazzled. Taking these small moments of opportunity that are already there in the day, without having to purposely seek anything out. 🌸🐝

🌸 Big Little Change... 🌸

Hi friends and followers — I wanted to share something with you 💛

A Little Joy is evolving.

What started as a small online gift store is now becoming something more personal, more reflective… and more aligned with where I am in life.

A few years ago whilst on maternity leave with my second daughter I wanted to explore creating a small online shop, with the idea of selling beautiful gifts that sparked joy.

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU for supporting my little venture - whether you purchased something, liked this page, or interacted with my posts. I deeply appreciate how you showed up to support me.

Once normal life resumed again, A Little Joy fell to the wayside. I realised my heart wasn't truly in it. So I stopped.

But I've always felt a pull to continue to create something that still brings Joy, to me and hopefully to you. I realised, it's not about purchasing items, but rather creating a space to simply share thoughts and feelings, lessons we've learnt so far and reflections on everyday life.

How we each can focus on the small moments in our lives which bring us joy - right where we are.

But fear was holding me back. But now, it's time.

So, this page is no longer a business built around products. It’s becoming a personal blog — a home for:

✨ Reflections on everyday life
✨ Thoughts on values, purpose, softness, and strength
✨ Honest moments
✨ Focusing on the joy that's already here, waiting to be uncovered

If you're here for that — for the real, gentle, messy, beautiful human stuff — I'm so glad you're with me.

You don’t need to change your whole life to feel joy. Sometimes you just need a reminder that it’s still there, even in the small moments.
