I simply MUST force myself to post more of the new collection!! So apologies in advance for single photo posts because ig only seems to like carousels or reels these days but honestly WHO HAS THE TIME??

Just a quick one to let my lovely stockists know that Wholesale Christmas decorations and all year round pins/magnets are available on my Faire :)
I’m so sorry I can’t bring my full range back - it’s super expensive to make my bigger items so rn it’s just these bits. However!! There is a new and v exciting solution in the works which I will hopefully be able to let you know about early next year :) really appreciate so many of you emailing me to ask about pop out cards/garlands, some of your messages have legit made me tear up, you guys are lovely!
Please please please use my Faire Direct link if you would like to place a wholesale order as it saves me a hefty 25% commission fee :) it’s available on my website also in the about section, or I can send it to you direct if you pop me a message/email!

Thank you to everyone for your Halloween orders!! Absolutely bonkers weekend :) x

Thank you for your patience while I got this collection together! Ya girl has been BUSY these last few weeks but I am so pleased with how it has come together and I really hope you find some bits that you like :) you can see the whole collection on the NEW IN section of the website!
I have never been very good at socials and have slightly given up pretending that I ever will be so really appreciate anyone who is still sticking around on insta waiting for me to post :) truth is I would much rather be drawing or writing! Which I appreciate is utterly TERRIBLE for someone trying to make a living from their art biz, but there we go. They say you never stop learning, right? Maybe 2027 will be the year that I finally learn how to looooove marketing.
Love you all, thank you for your messages this week about miss hula and the sparkly Desigual jacket and formula one. What a lovely bunch you all are ❤️ Angela x

I missed Halloween entirely last year (ifykyk) so we’re back with a BANG baby!!
Lots of spooky little new bits coming on Sunday 27th :) please tap for a reminder! Although the shoot was slightly chaotic I am really proud of this collection and have these brand new products that I am affectionately calling ‘danglies’ (although not sure if this is a very professional name?) which I’m so excited about!! Some of you will have already seen them in their infant stage on my stories :) long time no post, as per, because life is BUSY and I can only thank you for that :) I’ll post some more photos this week on the lead up so you can get an idea of what’s coming!

Hello to all the new faces here! Pop out cards & desk companions are my absolute favourite things to make and my bestsellers, so here's a little introduction to them for those of you who have recently found me :)
My name is Angela and I'm an illustrator and accidental product designer from the New Forest. Dapple and Dot is my very silly business where I make very silly little wooden creatures that (hopefully) speak to something inside you!

I designed a collection of pop out desk companions for readers and book lovers (because i found bookstagram and booktok in my 30s and fell back in love with reading ❤️)

If I was wise I would have put the finished product underneath the sketch so I could write before and after in a sort of vaguely chronological sense BUT I am not wise :)

Been trawling through procreate recently and realised just how much I love the sketchy stage!!

Three new desk companions/pop out cards available on the website now! Please lmk your fave below :)

Small Dapple updates:
1. Currently working on Halloween 2026 and some very very exciting secret projects bts. Will be posting a lot of my wips for non secret on stories so keep an eye out there if you're interested in seeing the collections take shape!
2. Thank you so much to everyone who has preordered an advent calendar!! I'm hoping to open general sale again later on in the year so will make posts/emails/stories as and when that happens. For now, pls send best wishes, thoughts and prayers for gwen the printer as she makes your orders during yet ANOTHER heatwave ;)
3. Some of you sneaky chicks have found me on etsy again! Full disclosure - I'm being VERY slow at getting my entire catalogue on there, but when it's on I'll make a post about it :) but just want to say really appreciate you guys predominantly shopping via the website as obvs that helps me avoid etsy transaction fees ❤️❤️

The next few months are going to be a bit chocka with new projects and collection work but omg I'm so excited for you guys to see what I've been working on :)

Thanks for sticking around while I consistently forget to post on social media/send out any marketing emails 🥲 I'm sure it will become second nature at some point, right? Right??

Whoopsy daisy fell into work and life and hobbies and didn't post anything here in over a month 🙂 I would apologise but I've actually been having a really great time being alive recently so I shan't!! There are a few super exciting Dapple projects going on rn that to have to keep secret for a long while but when I am allowed to talk about them, you will not be able to shut me up :)
Three new desk companions are also coming soon! Hoping for a Sunday launch but we shall see how it goes :)
I hope you are all doing very well and not melting in this ridiculous heat (which smart cookie do you think decided to cut in a fringe after 16 years of umming and ahhing about it, just in time for a 33 degree summer??)
Oh also!! If you've read this far, hello, how are you, thanks! A small note to say advent preorders will be opening at the beginning of July. I will do a proper post about it when it is time but I will only be doing them in limited numbers this year as they are very time consuming and expensive to make - if you would like to be on the list, please fill out the form in the description of the advent calendar listing on my website :) The waiting list is slightlllly terrifying so I'm doing my best to prepare early!!
Thank you for sticking around while I got my mojo back :)
