We managed to get the photoshoot done! Please prepare for the slightly delayed Reader Collection, coming this Sunday at 8pm GMT. This is my first proper collection since Valentine's Day and I am very proud of them so I hope you find something you like.

I also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who messaged me over the last couple of days about my lovely dog after I had to delay the launch. Unfortunately we didn't get the diagnosis we were hoping for but I have her back home with me and she's not seizing or in any pain, which is the most important thing. I'm not sure how much time I'll have left with her so I'm making the most of every day at the moment. Thank you to you all for your kindness, help and patience with me as I had to step away for a bit to get her the care she needed. It was really appreciated ❤️

Just wanted to very quickly say THANK YOU for all your orders over this week, it's been a bit of a bonkers one and I am so so grateful. I'm throwing myself into Dapple atm and I'm so glad that some of the very silly things I make resonate with you guys. I really really appreciate it and it feels like a truckload of creative motivation has been injected into me :) BTS designing a new little readers collection and some new pop out card additions to the range!!
(Also this is me keeping up with posting, even if it is just one image. I'm going it mum, I'm doing it!)

A dedication to my fabulous photographer/videographer/font of all knowledge that is . I don’t know how we get anything done during photoshoots because we don’t really stop laughing throughout, but somehow it always produces exactly what I need.

She is also always the one to set up her phone recording B-roll, which is fabulous because it both gives me some excellent footage to use for ✨content✨ and also captures these memories of my buffoonery that I wouldn’t have otherwise 🙂

This was behind the scenes of the Valentine’s shoot where I was meant to be acting as the hands and a tall backdrop, and utterly failed in my duties. Thank goodness for photoshop.

I hope you don’t mind me posting this sort of thing, but watching the video back made me laugh a lot, and maybe it can give you an idea of the slight chaos behind the lovely gorgeous photos :)

This has actually been live for a little while now (some of you guys randomly found it within 5 minutes of it going active on my website??? Thank you 🙏🙏) but it's about time I posted about him! A ✨️shrimply awful✨️ posture check desk companion, because my posture has been consistently TERRIBLE for all of my life and I desperately need to fix it. I'm hoping he might be useful for a few of you too :)

Thank you for all your lovely messages on the last post btw, it was very heartening to read them. Love you guys. Glad to know I'm not just yelling out into an empty void. I spent like 2 hours on a coach today animating rain and it was just gorgeous blissful wonderful times ❤️

The theory I'm working with is that by titling this 'Chapter One', I will have a deep burning desire to come back and create chapter two, in an effort to POST ON SOCIALS!!

Hello everyone, here's a little life update from recently. It's all been a bit bleh. But I've got a couple of months to play with now and I am determined to use this time for Dapple. I've been doing lots of behind the scenes admin and such to get in a better position, but of course, that meant I forgot to post properly on instagram, because my brain got overwhelmed, a bit sad and quite scared. But lets face it, isn't everyone feeling those things right now? So I just wanted to be honest and use instagram as a sort of journal while I do my very best to make a business and life that I love. Also because I finally admit that if I don't post, I cannot be seen, and I wanna be seen!! I love what I make! I think you'll like it too!

If you are also feeling lost, just know I'm right next to you in the forest :)

The lunar new year approaches as fast as a 🔥flaming horse🔥, and oh my goodness, I cannot wait for it. The year of the snake, quite frankly, was absolutely arse awful and I cannot wait to get that scaley sucker OUT OF HERE. And, as detailed above, I bloody love horses and I feel a great affinity with fire, so I’m going to be riding this new energy into the rest of 2026. I’m also LOVING seeing so many posts about the year of the horse at the moment!! One of my absolute favourite things is seeing how other artists draw horses - they are such oddly shaped, beautiful animals and there are a thousand different ways to draw them, it makes my brian very happy. I for one stick to a pretty traditional knobbly bobbly legged horse, which is how I’ve drawn them since I was a little kid.

This decoration is now available on my website (scroll down the homepage a little bit) and I apologise for it’s lateness and thank those of you who have been waiting so patiently for him to appear. Also, thank you for all your support on the Valentine’s collection over the last couple of weeks, I am so grateful. Wishing you all (I’m stealing from Ms. Winkleman here) enormous luck and fortune in the new lunar year!! This is going to be the one ❤️🔥
