Busy couple of weeks putting together this nicely spec’d forged CDL. Completely stripped, vapour blasted, honed, skimmed, crank polished, …… painted, necessary parts replaced, 83mm pistons, , freewheel, ARP bolts, King race bearings, and lots of other goodies.

Not bad for a weekends work. Customer came in with low compression issue. After a series of diagnostics, cylinder 2 appeared to be passing oil and close to 80% leakage. First impressions was blown rings. Further investigation required the engine out and stripped down. The final verdict was not what we were expecting to see. I’d say that gaping hole in the wall of the piston is your problem 😆🙈💣💥 Forged engine incoming
