Top Tip Tuesday
Here are some of the arrangements made today and some top tips for caring for flower arrangements:

• Keep arrangements somewhere cool and away from direct sunlight, radiators, fires and draughts.

• Check the floral foam regularly. It should always feel damp to the touch.

• Floral foam slowly releases water to the stems over several days, helping to keep the flowers hydrated.

• Please don’t wait until the foam feels dry as once floral foam has completely dehydrated, it cannot be properly rehydrated and your flowers may not be able to drink from the foam.

• Avoid pouring lots of water over the top of the arrangement. This can cause water to collect between the flowers and foliage and may encourage them to rot. The best way is daily misting to keep things fresh. A little water regularly is best!

• Remove any flowers or foliage that start to wilt as they fade.

• Enjoy the flowers! A little daily care will help them stay fresh and beautiful for as long as possible.
