I already new that the lack of water during the school day had a negative effect on my daughter's asthma and the overuse of the pump excervated the overthinking mind into anxiety.

Even when I was breastfeeding, I was told to drink more water and I saw the difference in milk production when I made the point of finishing a glass regularly throughout the day. ( rest also had a big impact, but that's a conversation for another day) 🩵

So many of our bodies' functions depend on being well hydrated and yet we put water at the back our lists.

But then discovered Masaru Emoto's studies on water and how the water's molecular structure would change if the water was treated with positive intentions ( words of love or gratitude) or negative intentions (like hate)

Since our bodies are more than half water, I couldn't stop wondering what effects the words we say to each other and our children would have on our bodies.

Drinking really cold water can stop thoughts in their tracks ( good to know for overactive minds ✨️)
And I even used a glass of iced water to wake up my non-moving daughter in my belly towards the end of term ( as advised by the midwife, so we knew she was ok)

Water has even been used for purification in so many religious or spiritual practices.

Are we underestimating the power of water and words to our children?

I hear you in the comments 🩵✨️

For the older years, exam results are near and the ones still in the thick and thin of school, we see you 🩵

The school journey is not easy on anyone, students, working parents, teachers....if you are with me say yeah! 😉

Perhaps up to all of us to make the society that is reflected in the schools, a better place for our children.

In the meantime, I would just say, don't let them do it alone 🩵🩵

If something makes you happy...by all means, why not 🩵
But more to the point, I wanted to comment that even though the roles were somewhat constrictive in that society, there were guidelines, mentors, mums giving their best( even if sometimes the help was overly helpful ;)
But nowadays, all parents working to make ends meet and kids walking home from school to an empty house from the age of 10...

Am I missing something? 🩵🩵

I was surprised to find a school that whenever approproate( at the end or beginning of lesson or in-between PE) would remind everyone to drink by a simple -" everyone! 5 mins to drink water!"

Not only their bodies function and grow better, they are more alert towards the learning.

I was very pleased to see this, as not even Outstanding schools (by Ofsted) that I had been in , did this.
Fruits were also readily available🩵

On the other hand, I support a child who only drinks milk and the occasional coke ( 🤔) and only eats cheerios. Water is not the only thing he lacks, unfortunately. His body is strong and active but his mind is really behind; almost in the baby stage and cannot cope with many things.
He started making progress verbally, in concentration, focus, interaction, patience and I have to say that stories and sensory books really helped to ignite other senses.

But it baffles me how he survives without water 💧
Any ideas?✨️

If you go down to the woods today...you will find...
all different creatures
great and small,
Trees that bear fruit
Colourful flowers to bring joy
And also a place for butterflies to rest
And if you look deep enough
You will see the way to a fairy door

Don't be afraid✨️
For all creatures are as fearful as you are
( as I used to say to my kids)
A little kindness, a sprinkle of courage
A tender heart and handful of consideration
Will see you well on a journey into nature.
For we are all together in this
And nature is a friend and much softer when you know how✨️

Or I will see you down at Essex Wildlife Trust

Have you been? ✨️🦋🩵

I have worked in different schools for the past few years, helping children that were behind or needed help fitting in, as a learning support assistant.

I left a career in finance to follow something that made me very curious, especially because it was so overpowering when my children were little.

What I have learnt from all the different schools, has made me question many other things.
I have seen commonalities but also what sets them apart in my eyes; and it is not, having an report that is outstanding

Would you like me to share my findings?

In the meantime, keep reading to and with your children 🦋 but above all, have fun ✨️🩵
