Scrunchies are so gentle for your hair, they pull out with ease and the fabric acts as a barrier between your hair and the elastic inside to prevent hair breakage or over pulling.
I love making them so you feel good about what you add to your hair and I highly recommend to anyone wanting to change to handmade scrunchies to give my swim scrunchies a try! They are perfect for every day use as well as being used in water! I now offer 44 different colours and designs.

It's a busy morning of packing your orders and then this afternoon I hope to remake some of the pumpkins.
Thank you to all who have been placing orders and trusting me for your handmade products. You honestly don't know how much it means. Here are 2 hair accessory orders that headed out on Friday. One is a new customer and one is returning, any ideas which is which? The items in the last order are all now out of stock and not coming back. This is why I always say be quick as lots of my items are limited!

When I started creating hair accessories I knew I didn't want to just offer plain colours, I wanted to offer quirky fabric designs that others didn't!
When choosing fabrics I look at what I know my customers love, I look at the fun designs to attract new customers and different occasions, but I also look at designs that mean something to people.
My cheeky over 18s designs are always a great talking point!
My b***s scrunchies have always been worn by women who have fought and survived breast cancer, the rainbow fishies (you know what they really are) have been a novelty for people to have a laugh when out and about and for hen parties. So having the chance to bring in the alternative colours for them was a no brainer!

Some of you spotted this design on the launch video of the new hair accessories.
It's an autumn leaves pattern and I've made it into standard and mega but it's actually a new fabric for me. It's a corduroy, which is a cotton fabric but it has ridges in the fabric which feels like a slight raised texture. I've wanted to create scrunchies from it for a long time as it's got a softness to it. The minute the fabric arrived I fell in love with it and it was so easy to sew too! I do have plans in the future to bring a few other colours and designs into this range of fabrics as I want you to feel good about what you put in your hair, the softer the better of course! You will never see me make scrunchies with sequins or beads attached as they will get tangled and snagged in your hair, I am all about looking after your hair and making sure you don't damage it!
Is this a design you'd choose? Have you worn or touched corduroy fabrics before? They are used a lot in home decor and clothing!

I've been keeping a little secret from you all. I've been busy over the past week, creating new hair accessories and have just launched them on the website.
This could be the last launch until Christmas as I have got a busy few weeks coming up plus all being well pumpkins will be restocked this weekend too!

My business is not for everyone, people I thought would support me on this journey and help me get my business seen kept their distance. Some thought it was just a hobby and I'd get a proper job. Over the past 10 years I have learnt that it's the people we meet along the way who are actually the ones we want on this journey, the ones who get you and love what you do. They are the ones who matter. The people who comment every day, spend time browsing your items, purchasing from you and leaving those reviews. This photo from Sophie showing items purchased from my small business means more to me than a friend who ignored my content. It says to me I love what you do and I love your items! So thank you to Sophie, and to the ones who turn up daily to my business and love what I do. You are the reason I turn up every day too and the reason I am working my backside off behind the scenes to restock items and work on exciting projects.
