We are delighted to be taking part in this year's Rugby Literary Festival for the third year running! 📚🎉

The Rugby Literary Festival is a celebration of stories, creativity and community. The festival will be running from 23rd - 25th October, with lots of events going on around the town.

We will be hosting the following events:
🤫 Quiet Reading Space: Friday 2-3.30pm, Saturday 10am-3.30pm, Sunday 12-4pm
📖 Children's Storytelling Session: Friday 2-2.30pm
📚 Book Fair: Saturday 10am-3.30pm
⇄ Book Swap: Saturday 10.30am-3.30pm
🗝️ Escape the Writer's Block Escape Room: Saturday 10-10.30am or 11-11.30am
📜 Blackout Poetry Workshop: Sunday 12.30-1.30pm
🖍️ Book Magic: Sunday 2.30-3.30pm

I’ll pop this one back in the cupboard tomorrow morning. It’s a good story with relatable characters. Key themes of bereavement and grief run alongside friendship, family and romance. Very readable.

The average is 4-12 books a year??!! It feels good to finally be way above average in something! How many books do you reckon you get through in a year, I’ve calculated I read about 50-60 a year 😁

Welcome to our new followers - we’re now just 2 away from 500! 😯😊

A reminder/introduction of how our free community library works:

*The book swap cupboard is out on our driveway on the corner of Heath Way & Ashlawn Road (CV22 5ER) and is OPEN 24/7, 365 DAYS A YEAR!

*To protect the books there is a transparent raincover held on by magnets each side; remove these to browse and please replace it after use to ensure the cupboard remains watertight.

*Swapping of books is desirable to ensure the regular changeover of stock for everyone, however if you want a book to read but you haven’t got one to swap then just help yourself. The book swap was set up to share our love of reading with the community, please feel free to take a few books if you can’t make up your mind!

*If you have a larger donation of books to make and there isn’t room in the cupboard for them, please contact me via messenger to arrange to drop them off.

*Please look after the cupboard and keep it tidy. This is especially important in the school holidays when we are away and unable to do our usual daily checks. Thank you.

*Please give our posts a ‘like’ if you see them in your feed as that will increase our visibility within the community and ensure the Facebook algorithms don’t hide us from you! I regularly post current stock photos.
