Well, the business was due to reopen today... but, as seems to be becoming something of a tradition, I've managed to pick up the dreaded holiday lurgy over the last couple of days, and so the store will not be open. This is not a decision taken lightly as today would have been a busy one. Hopefully bank holiday Monday is a goer, but we'll see and keep you updated.

Any outstanding online orders are still due to be fulfilled from Tuesday.

Lads, the shop is now officially closed for the Summer Holidays. We'll be back open on Saturday 29th August... and this might also be a good time to remind you all that we stock the full range' of Zvezda products via our website, which includes a great selection of Airliners in 1/144 scale.

Anyone one with click + collect orders still to be collected, will be contacted directly, as we can arrange delivery for these while we're away.

Running out of space today, the outgoing sprays have started a queue at the sink!

Meanwhile, the Fukuiraptor has officially been released! We're still waiting for his mate, the Fukuisaurus, to arrive, but this is a fantastic little kit in the meantime.

It's small, straightforward and should make for an easy weekend build and paint job. We fully expect to see plenty of these popping up on model show displays towards the end of the year!

A very, very late night at the shop, and busy time for SuperModellers around the country it seems. Thank goodness for parcel lockers!

The reissued Tamiya Half Tracks' have been flying out so far this week, with even more due in (and then back out again) tomorrow.

With the summer holidays underway, we took a trip this week to the Royal Air Force Museum Midlands

Of course, being a modeller rather than an aviation enthusiast, I was mainly photographing panel lines, paint fading, oil streaks, rivets, weathering, and all those little details that most visitors probably never notice!

A few arrivals over the past few days!

From Tamiya UK we have the new Bf109 G-6 Late Production in 1/48 scale with full DB605 engine detail which can be displayed with open cowling, as it's too nice to hide away.

There's also re-release of the 1/35 Gulaschkanone German Field Kitchen and the 1/24 Toyota Celica LB Turbo Gr.5 with new Cartograf decals.

PLUS from Italeri Official Account we have the Bell AH-1W Super Cobra, looking suitably mean with decals for three versions, alongside the RF-4 C/E Phantom II, both in 1/72 scale.
