Well... today my thoughts have turned to Autumn! 🍂🍄🌰
As much as I love summer (and I'm definitely not wishing it away!), as a fairly new crocheter I need to get a head start if I want my Autumn wreath finished before... well... Autumn ends! 🤣
Bearing in mind it took me all afternoon to crochet one mushroom and one acorn 🍄🌰 (yes... I even hand-sewed tiny beads onto the mushroom for the spots because apparently I like making life difficult for myself! 😂), and after yesterday's Great Fern Leaf Fiasco, I thought I'd better get cracking now if I want it finished before next spring!
So far I have my mushroom and acorn, but what else says Autumn to you?
🍁 Colourful leaves? 🎃 Mini pumpkins? 🌾 Wheat or dried grasses? 🌰 Pine cones? 🦔 Hedgehogs? 🐿️ Squirrels? 🍎 Apples?
I'd love to hear your ideas. What would you add? 😊🧶

Proud to say I have finished this retirement gift project. Im not gonna lie, the fern leaves were a pain to make, very fiddly for a newbie, but after what seems like hours of perseverance, I cracked it. 😎🤣 Think I need a nice cuppa tea and a lie down after that. ☕️😉
