Two different prices, one afternoon. Here’s what changed — and why.

The appliance didn’t change. The market price did.

We monitor prices from major retailers, including AO, Currys, John Lewis and Marks Electrical, three times a day. When a competitor changes an eligible price, ours may be updated to match it.

That means the price you see in the morning could be different later that afternoon — and not always in the direction you might expect.

Think induction means rewiring? Not always.

Some induction hobs are designed to run from a standard 13amp plug, making induction a possible upgrade in kitchens where installing a dedicated high-power circuit isn’t practical.

You still get fast heating, easy cleaning and precise temperature control — although plug-in models may limit the total power available when several zones are used together.

The hob, existing electrics and kitchen setup all need to be checked before installation, but it could be a much simpler switch than you imagined.
