I love Elizabeth Strout’s prose. She could write a shopping list and it would be sublime.
Growing up near Colchester we visited Beth Chatto’s often so my Mum’s choice is very welcome this year. Perhaps my scruffy garden will look a bit more cared for in 2025. Thanks for ‘The Party’ - looks good!
