Here we go again! Alison Explore, Make, Create is having me back to her studio!
If you’d like to come along for a fun afternoon where I give you some key tips on your body shape guidelines, get in touch and book your place.
I’m never going to tell you what you should and shouldn’t wear, but I’ll show you difference by softly styling what you’re wearing. Each person gets to spend 10-15 minutes with me and if you’re up for it in front of the other lovely women. It’s a supportive, girls girl environment, but if you’d rather not get up in front of everyone, that’s fine too! We’ll find a quiet place while the others chat about their tips!
Come with a friend, mum, daughter, sister, or on your own. It’s going to be fun 🤩💃🥰

I'm so pleased to welcome back. We ran this workshop a couple of years ago with great feedback.
She really does have some amazing tips and tricks to enhance your good bits. There's no fat-shaming here, this isn't about size or weight it's all about what works for you and your shape. No tape measures involved, we don't need numbers to work out proportions to get a good balance in what you wear.
Places are limited as to give each participant time so if this is something you've always been curious about give it a go. Meanwhile check out Debi's socials to see how fab she is!!

💗💚 Colour theory isn’t just for painters and designers; we can use it in our day-to-day wardrobes too! It’s all about a basic understanding of the colour wheel and deciding how bold you want to go.

Today I’m pairing Green + Pink… one of my absolute favourite combos and a fantastic starting point if you’re looking to step out of your colour comfort zone.

As a colour analyst, my main goal is showing you how to make colour work for your unique undertones and personal style, not just telling you what to wear! Urgh… never that.

Try this at home:

1️⃣ Pick one hero piece from your wardrobe.

2️⃣ Build one harmonious outfit (tints, tones or shades on the top of the wheel, either side of your chosen colour).

3️⃣ Build one with a pop of a complementary colour (opposite side on the wheel).

💡 Top tip: If a complementary colour feels a bit much, ease into it with an accessory like a bag, shoe, belt or scarf!

Drop a comment below if you’d wear this combo, or tell me which colours you struggle to style! 👇

Want to work with me 1-on-1? I’m in the style studio for private colour analyses on Sunday mornings and some evenings (or at your chosen location). Plus, you can catch me working at the shop every Sunday & Monday for a chat and styling advice!

Sundays are for style, connection, and celebrating fabulous women. 🥂✨

This weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of hosting a private workshop for Bernie’s birthday at Mockingbirds boutique.

After seeing me speak at The Wellness Day at Sandhole Barn recently, a fundraiser for Prevent Breast Cancer and the brainchild of Heather Glover - Bernie and Catherine knew they wanted a bit of Debi Piper Style and colour in their lives… and they brought four of their brilliant friends along for the ride!

Here is what £40 per person got them:
1️⃣ The Colour Taster: A mini-colour analysis using my harlequin drapes to see which palette brings the glow.
2️⃣ The Retail Check: Using their new seasonal palette cards to shop the boutique with me to help them with my expert eye.
3️⃣ The Balance: A one-on-one simple body proportioning exercise to understand their unique shape.
4️⃣ The Strategy: Individual style tips and the chance to try on clothing that fits both their body and their personal comfort zone.

We had a great time, lots of laughs, and plenty of “oooos” and “wows”! And some proper screams when the Bernie masks came out! Take a look at the pic. 😂

There’s truly nothing better than empowering gorgeous people with the knowledge to use clothing and colour to boost their confidence. Watching them all walk out with a grin is exactly why I do what I do.

Want to create these memories with your favourite people?
It’s the perfect setup for birthdays, hen-dos, team building, or just a bit of self-care fun. 💖

Drop me a message and let’s get your event in the diary!

It’s been a busy Tropic month!

I recently had the lovely Jenny over and got to use my Colour Expert palette on her. This is where my colour analysis training really comes in handy — finding the tints, tones and shades that make someone’s natural features stand out. While I’m not a professional make-up artist, I love any excuse for a makeover.

I’ve done a few lately, including a fun Tropic Pamper night for a group of five at it was such fun! Thank you girls! 😍

The star product of this show was the new Calm & Correct. It’s a 4-in-1 cream that cancels out redness, calms the skin, and has SPF 50. It gives such a natural finish, and I think you can tell Jenny was a fan.

Here is how we finished the look:
After the base, I used Illuma to brighten the undereye area. To make Jenny’s blue eyes pop, I used Baobab (a cool grey) with a bit of shimmering Oatmeal, plus some warm brown Silk Gel Eyeliner.
For the lashes, we went with Fixing Gel and Extension Fibres for extra length.
For the details, I defined her brows with Cedar powder and used Sunkissed Orchard for a soft flush on the cheeks.
I did some light contouring with Tahiti Tan and a quick dusting of Bali Bronze across the forehead and cheekbones for a sun-kissed look.
We finished with Peony Pop on the lips, which is a perfect dusky pink for her summer palette.

Jenny looks great, and I’m so glad she let me share these photos. 📸

My goal is always to show how quick and easy it is to enhance what you’ve already got without needing a heavy touch.

If you fancy booking a free consultation, hosting a Pamper get-together, or just want to try a Borrow Bag of skincare at home, let me know. 🥰

You’ve no idea how excited I am for the new colours.
If you’ve done a FREE and make up consultation with me, you’ll already know about these.

They are so smooth and I use them on lips, cheeks and eyes, I go no make up to ready to go in a minute, seriously! Watch my video. ⬆️

If you want to combine a consultation with any of my colour or styling experiences, even better! I’ll show you the colours that will suit you most. 🌈

Women’s Well-being Day Saturday 7th March 2026

When Heather Glover calls me it’s generally because she wants something… but in a good way.
Previous asks have been colour analysis, wardrobe editing and one time, walking round in a Skarlette cami and thong for obviously. 🙄

This time was different and I’m so glad she asked.
A whole day of presentations from a group of incredible women, to a bunch of incredible women.

From hormones, genetics, diet, exercise, mind body connections, breathing, ice-baths, skincare, make-up and a bit of colour analysis and styling chat, we came together to share our expertise and create a wonderful sense of womanhood in a beautiful place.

There was a healthy lunch, hand massages, reflexology tasters, styling demos, a chance to move our bodies, flowing into a breathing exercise that made every cell in my body vibrate! Then, for me, la pièce de la résistance a chance to take an ice bath. Something I said I’d never do! I have Reynauds and I hate being cold, however, this was more about mind over body and facing some truths. Could I get over myself? It seems that I can.

I want to thank Heather for the vision, all the women who stood up to talk, everyone that gave their time to help and everyone who attended. It was bloody marvellous. 😍💗

Body shape analysis…
Conforming to stereotypical body types or giving women a framework to feel more confident?

There are a lot of women out there who know who they are, how they want to dress and who are so over being told what they should be wearing. I’m one of them.
BUT… there are a lot of who don’t feel confident in the way they dress, would love to be more ‘themselves’ but are so overwhelmed by clothes, they wear outfits that are more like uniforms, that they are really not happy with, but serve a purpose.

I use body shape analysis as a tool to get my clients over the first hurdles of:

I don’t know what suits me.

My body has changed and I don’t know how to dress anymore.

I’ve told myself that I don’t care, but I’d love to try new things…

I listen to you while we either measure you or use ribbons to work out your proportions. Then break down what you like, what works for you, what doesn’t and I’ll give you some styling guidelines that you will be happy to try.

This process alone can be a game changer and spark a new relationship with getting dressed. It’s fun and interesting, and I’m definitely NOTtelling you how to dress!
