Road to me
Oil on canvas HSFK Portrait Award 2025.

Well what a journey this little painting has been on. Firstly to the wonderful National Portrait Gallery, where it formed part of the Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer portrait exhibition for the summer last year, and then onto Newcastle where it has remained until now at the Laing Gallery.
It will soon come home.

It has been such an honour to have had my work featured in those fabulous galleries.

Bit brutally painted , but any ideas who these eyes belong to?

Peepo Kusama

Oil on canvas 25 x 30 cm
Mini portrait of the late artist Yayoi Kusama. I don't know an awful lot about Kusama in my ignorance, but I thought her lovely bright style would make a punchy little painting.

Standard stretch, edges painted black.
