A bit of an update post from me…

I’ve been very quiet on here as life has been quite busy so The Gift Box has taken a bit of a back seat. We’ve been incredibly lucky to welcome our second born a few months back so life has been busy “enjoying” life with two little ones. We’re so blessed and fortunate to have expanded our family but the days can be a bit challenging and exhausting!

The plan is to return to The Gift Box soon but in the meantime whilst I’m on maternity leave I’ve started a page for my other love 😆 and area of expertise - that being accountancy.

I started working life as a chartered accountant so while on mat leave I wanted something to help keep the grey matter ticking over and who knows where it may lead to. Self employed accountancy work is something I’ve thought of previously so it could lead to that. Who knows. Either way it’s a good chance to upskill and refresh my knowledge.

So I plan on sharing a few basics around accounting but then also things that business owners may worry about eg cost cutting, how to price products, cash flow tips etc. I’d also love to understand what would help and you’d like to see so please do message or comment. It’d be great to get a bit of community built up to.
