🎉 One month to go!!! 😆🥳💙🪡

With 🎉 one month to go! (Omg!) 🎉 I thought it was probably time I told you why I wanted to create The Stitching Fair in the first place!💙

I love the artisan markets that we do with Bramble Berry Markets, and all the makers are so lovely, I look forward to seeing them, but i wanted something more in my niche, something more stitchy, and we don't have anything like that in Scarborough. I don't drive so it always makes it tricky getting to fairs further away. So I thought why don't we create one here?!

I love the makers that we support in the shop, and I'd love for everyone to meet them and see the fantastic work they do.

I have so many ideas for the Stitching Fair, but i keep reminding myself that this is the first one and anything I don't manage to do this year can always become an idea for next time!

One thing I love about crafting is that nobody ever seems to stick to just one craft (myself included!) I love when people try a new craft and get so excited about it!

Every crafter I've met in the shop is always so lovely, I think it's the crafting making us slow down and be happier people.

I love craft supplies but when there are so so many talented makers out there making beautiful kits with thoughtful designs, it makes me sad that so many places only stock big brands. There are so many wonderful makers out there that deserve to be discovered!

So really, the Stitching Fair is everything I would want to visit myself 💙

I can't wait to share it with you! 🤩

It was so lovely to meet a lady and her son today who has one of my Thornton-Le-Dale Almhouses hand embroidery kits ( exclusive to Threads & Tales TLD)

She told me she'd been torn between this one and the cottage kit! 🤩
