Lauren is a strategic, creative thinker and has knowledge and background experience in Advertising, Creative Services, Marketing, Styling, Wedding Stationery and Photography. The Colourful Edit was born out of a passion to make life a little more colour

Having worked as a colour analyst, personal stylist, bridal stylist and accessories stylist, Lauren has the personal skills, (patience), and knowledge of how to dress you to make you feel more confident. The 'Colour, Shape and Style' sessions are all you need to get you back on track! ACCESSORIES

The Colourful Edit Accessories are stocked throughout the country. Every time a neckwear is created, it's designed with purpose and with the intent that the wearer will feel really good and confident in their bespoke creation. It's been an incredible journey with the accessories so far, and an exciting road ahead! BRANDING

With her background in Advertising, Marketing and Social Media... 'Styling your Brand' is something that Lauren can tackle for your small business or personal venture. FULL TO THE BRIM
The BID for Galashiels board of directors have been working hard behind the scenes to bring our local businesses some business support.

The program below, is happening next week, and we are encouraging our businesses, education teams and community partners and members of the public, to sign up and attend the sessions. It is FREE to learn, and you will have the opportunity to meet other like minded people, learn about the heart of Galashiels, a new skill set and tips and tricks to make your business shine.

As a business owner myself, I know it is difficult to step away from the store or shop front, for time to learn (or even just your lunch). But this is OUR community, and we need to lead with community spirit. I’m sure there would be someone willing to lend you an hour or two cover, for you to gain insight into some of these topics.

There is also a networking night in the Thursday evening. So I might see you there too! 🌈

We promised you a week worth showing up for - and here it is. Learning at Work Week in Galashiels starts on 18th May, and we've pulled together a full programme of both online and in-person sessions for our amazing business community.

Talks, workshops, events and connections we're sure you'll find really valuable.

Learning at Work Week is for everyone, not just the people at the top. If you have a team, share this with them. Whether you're the person who started the business or the person who joined last month, there's something here for you. Send your staff, bring a colleague, come along yourself or ask your boss. We'd love to see as many faces from Galashiels businesses as possible through the door this week.

We will also be sharing with you a great programme of online resources we have access to via Learning at Work Weeks' national partners as well as some excellent local sessions which really complement what we have planned for you - so keep your eyes peeled for that.
