Two Nostalgia inducing jersey’s will be featuring in this weeks stock drop and both the crispy white Champion home Jerseys’s.

Larry Johnson was one of the 90’s big characters who never took himself too seriously but he was a fly mo - fo with the gold tooth and centre part hair shave.

The pinstripe of Houston paired with Hakeem Olajuwon’s name are the first thought in my head when I think of the 90’s Rockets.

👕Embrace the sleeve?👕

Adidas introduced us to the sleeved style jersey in 2013, with the Golden State Warriors becoming the first team to wear them on an NBA court.

The idea was to provide a jersey that felt more like a T-shirt, making it easier for fans to wear away from the court. They were also designed to be lighter than traditional uniforms.

Not everyone loved them though as LeBron James famously complained about the sleeves affecting his shooting motion, and the experiment remained seriously divisive.

When Nike took over the NBA uniform contract in 2017 it was game over for the sleeves.

They were only around for a few seasons but they’ve left us with some of the most striking jersey designs from the 2010’s era.

From a personal perspective I do enjoy collecting the sleeved jerseys as they are easy to wear on a daily basis while reppin’ the NBA and I think they will be collectors items in years to come.

I was away last week but we are full steam ahead and back in the game.

It’s time to Embrace the sleeve as I have two Adidas T - shirt jerseys involved in this week’s upcoming stock drop.

If you are not familiar with the T shirt jersey era then check in later as I’ll be posting a pictorial history of the T shirt jersey experiment.

Ive just had a flick through the fresh arrivals that will be dropping later this week and get ready for another stacked drop of NBA treats from the 90’s NBA to present day.

🎽🔥The 90’s redefined NBA style PART 2 🔥🎽

The 1990s didn’t just change NBA jerseys, they completely rewrote the script of basketball jersey design.

Part 2 takes us even deeper into an era where teams weren’t afraid to experiment with bold colours, unusual patterns and completely new identities.

The New Jersey Nets opened the decade with the infamous Tie-Dye jersey, while Olympic icon Florence Griffith Joyner designed the Indiana Pacers’ legendary Flo-Jo uniforms, a look that became synonymous with Reggie Miller and 90s Indiana.

By the middle of the decade, things were getting even bolder. The Cleveland Cavaliers Wave jerseys, Sacramento Kings Checkerboard designs showed just how far NBA jersey design had moved away from the traditional looks of the previous era.

Then you had the one-off 1995 Phoenix and 1996 San Antonio NBA All-Star jersey designs that could only have come from the 90s!

Towards the end of the decade, the Golden State Warriors Lightning identity and Orlando Magic’s star-covered 1998–99 uniforms pushed that experimentation even further. Orlando’s star design was created by fashion designer Jhane Barnes for the franchise’s 10th anniversary.

Some were loved, some were hated, but NEVER boring!

These jerseys didn’t just represent NBA teams they became part of 90s basketball culture.

It’s a double Miami Heat jersey drop today and two stunning Vice Night ls city edition jerseys.

The first jersey featured is the original release from 2018 / 2019 with the name-set of Heat legend Dwayne Wade.

The second jersey is last season re-release with the commemorative 2006 title winning anniversary patch and sponsors patch.

Two stunning jersey’s that right up there in my top ten of finest designs since 2017.

I have three amazing michael Jordan jerseys going live tonight at 8pm and the three jersey’s cover his entire career.

From a personal point of view the Chicago Bulls red pinstripe alternate jersey is my favourite uniform he played in.

The red Bulls road jersey is the most iconic but the red pinstripe is the one for me.
