During periods of extreme heat, it’s worth giving your vinyl collection a little extra care.

Keep records upright, away from direct sunlight and in the coolest room available. Avoid sudden changes in temperature and humidity, and never leave vinyl in a parked car, where temperatures can quickly rise high enough to cause permanent warping.

Look out for records that no longer sit flat, visible rippling, skipping or pitch fluctuations.

Vinyl can last for generations when stored correctly. So, keep it cool, upright and protected throughout the summer.

Injection moulded records combine great playback quality with a manufacturing process that can deliver measurable reductions in production-related energy use and COâ‚‚e emissions, making them an increasingly popular choice for artists and labels looking to think differently about their next release.

They can use 100% recycled plastic, use 85% less energy to manufacture than conventional vinyl pressings, and can reduce measured COâ‚‚ emissions by up to 42%.*
