4WD testing today with our new ‘Pro Kerb’ design. The helix design goes right to the rim and is designed to hide scruffs over the use/ lifetime of the wheel. I’ve personalised this set on ABM RC - Amy Booth Models LTD with my nickname and team chassis.

A class weekend with massive thanks to all the fellow races who supported Disco Discs buying tires and wheels, appreciate it.

Saturday 2WD and after a wet start and some very basic errors it all came right in the afternoon.

After some school boy errors and rain early on I had a cracking afternoon. Getting faster in every heat and doing my best run in the final (that never happens). 7th on the grid to finish 2nd 🥈 in H final absolutely made up with that. And that one final higher than first round at BMR.

Small contingent from Sheffield. Kieran our one true hope and Matt Wilkinson adopted for the day plus James and Alex Thompson. Simon Charity came down in the afternoon to cheer us all along.

Kieran and Matt lead the charge qualifying 4 and 3 respectively in the E final. A messy final for both though bumps and scrapes with other in the heat. Kieran came home 5th and Matt 3rd.

Alex and dad James in the same I Final qualifying 3 and 4. James in his own words had a terrible final driving like a **** and came home 10th. Alex did his dad proud and came 2nd 🥈 👏.

Sunday 4WD dry day and flying solo at the one true hope for Sheffield racers (god help you 😅). Tough day with two breakages in two heats both to do with stripped screw threads in plastics. Heat 1 would be my best doing 12 laps and second. Can’t help but think perhaps more was left on the floor. That said it was a challenging and rewarding track. Bloody great setup as always from Robinhood crew.

It seemed that many had not had the best day as I snuck in as car 10 in the E final with drivers usually faster than me in the F and in with me. being a highlight standing side by side on the rostrum.

From 10th to finish 8th, so close to 12 laps.
