Our May Roundup 👇
May has been another varied and rewarding month for Marcaz Electrical Appliance Testing!
📍We have been out and about working with businesses and organisations across Yorkshire and Derbyshire!
The month started with three days of testing at a busy electronics manufacturing company, followed by delivering a PAT Testing training course to staff at Canterbury City Council, helping their team build confidence and competency in electrical safety testing.
Throughout the month, work has included testing in a wide range of environments including:
🔌 Chesterfield Coroner's Court
🔌A secure children’s home in Clay Cross
🔌An upholstery repair centre specialising in camper vans and specialist vehicles
🔌Offices of a home care company in Barnsley
🔌A PR and marketing agency in Nether Edge, Sheffield
🔌A commercial energy company in Manvers
🔌A children’s centre in North Wingfield, Derbyshire
🔌A sheltered housing association block of flats in Chesterfield
🔌A large and busy office environment in Sheffield City Centre
One of the highlights of the month though was providing free PAT Testing support to the 12th Rotherham Scout Group!
Having been involved in Cubs, Scouts and later the Sea Cadets as a youngster, Martin wanted to give something back to organisations that played an important role in keeping him on the right path growing up.
Away from work, May has also included some important downtime.
Martin has been attempting to improve his golf game (with enthusiasm currently outweighing talent... 😅 )but it’s quickly becoming a genuine passion.
There’s also been time spent enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend at home, working in the garden, and most importantly making memories with family and his grandson!
