After 6 years of going against mainstream, using common sense and instinct, avoiding ideologies and questioning everything is the only way I am able to do what I do. And after 6 hard years, it is finally showing gratitude and I am slowly able to pick those ripe fruits off my sapling.
In the past 2 weeks multiple children told me they were uncomfortable at their set up, and I told them: "Good! I want you to be."
When I explained why, they carried on like they were never uncomfortable at the first place and made some outstanding works.
This is how I work. This is how my approach works and on this feed you can see all the progress these 8-12 year olds are making within our very limited time spent together. Because kids are capable, understanding, open minded, naturally intelligent and honest. Lets not ruin them.

This group has got to the point when they understand process, which makes time fly. They couldn't believe that 90 minutes passed so quickly, and were quite glad they haven't finished : they can carry on next time, having more fun and practice with those skills.

Even tho Marisol exhibited with pop artists, i always like to link her with nouveau realism. On our journey through this era, we cannot skip mixing sculpting and drawing, inspirations of cubism, found objects, and the kids dont let us down with their bloody decapitated heads either.

Back to the drawing board this morning. Sometimes you just need to tun up for art, and art will reveal itself.

I only caught a couple of sculptures on the lense before they fled out in the sun, nevertheless, they turned out awesome. Puzzling and confusing, making you see the reality while its totally distorted.
