🎨 ARTWORK SALE! 🎨

If you’ve been meaning to fill that empty wall at home, now is the time to pop in to cat&rabbit.shoreroad

We have reduced a large selection of our paintings, prints and framed artwork, with lots of pieces now in our clearance sale.

There is a real mixture to discover — landscapes, florals, coastal scenes, pop art and traditional artwork. You never quite know what little gem you might find!

Summer Fayre 2026 💚

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our 2026 Summer Fayre raised an incredible £22,000! 🥳🐾

Not only was this our best-ever Summer Fayre, but it was made even more special as part of our 40th anniversary celebrations. What a way to celebrate 40 years of helping animals! And that's an amazing £5,000 more than we raised last year!👀

This incredible result is down to the hard work of so many people. Thank you to our incredible team and, of course, to our amazing volunteers, who gave up their time not only on the day but in the weeks leading up to it too. Thank you so, so much 😘

To everyone who donated cakes, bottles, prizes, goods and so much more, our wonderful stallholders and performers, and everyone who helped behind the scenes, thank you 😍

And finally, a huge thank you to every single person who came along and supported us on the day. Whether you bought a raffle ticket, picked up a bargain, played a game, enjoyed some food, visited the animals or simply made a donation, you helped make this our biggest and best Summer Fayre yet. 🐱🐰

Every penny raised will help us care for the animals at The Centre, providing food, veterinary care, shelter and everything they need while they wait for their forever homes.

We are so grateful for our amazing supporters, we really couldn't do what we do without you. 💚

WOW, what an amazing day we had on Sunday at our Summer Fayre! ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported The Centre. From our wonderful stalls and games to puppet shows, live singing, music and lots of delicious refreshments, there was so much happening and we had such a brilliant day! 😍

And, of course, a massive thank you to our incredible volunteers who gave up their time to help make the day possible. We truly couldn’t do it without you! 🥰

We’re now busy adding everything up and will share an update on how much we raised for the animals as soon as we know! 🐱

Our Summer Fayre is THIS SUNDAY! 🌞

The countdown is almost over! We can't wait to welcome you to our biggest fundraising event of the year this Sunday 9th August, from 10.30am – 3.30pm, for a fantastic day out that's fun for the whole family.

Whether you're looking for a bargain, a unique gift, delicious homemade cakes or a chance to view some of the wonderful rescue animals in our care, there's something for everyone! 😍

Here's what you can look forward to:

🎭 The Handmade Arcade - retro arcade games, claw machines and photo booth

🎤 Live singing and music throughout the day
🌭 Hot dogs, refreshments and plenty of homemade cakes in our café
🎯 Fun games including our famous Bottle Tombola, Sweet Tombola, Bunny Games and new for this year - Crockery Smash!

And of course... our animal viewing! View some of the cats, rabbits and guinea pigs currently looking for loving new homes and see first-hand the animals your support helps every single day 😘

Can You Help Fill Our Bottle Tombola? 🍾

Our Summer Fayre is now just around the corner (Sunday 9th August), and our Bottle Tombola is always one of the most popular stalls of the day! Every year it raises hundreds of pounds to help us care for the cats, rabbits and guinea pigs at The Cat & Rabbit Rescue Centre.

A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated bottles; your generosity is amazing! 😘

We're still looking for a few more donations, particularly:
🧴 Toiletries
🥫 Jars of food or sauces
🥤 Soft drinks and other non-alcoholic bottles

As long as they're new and unopened, we'd be delighted to receive them. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps make our Bottle Tombola a success.

Donations can be dropped off at The Centre.
