WHAT'S YOUR NEXT 7" GOING TO BE?

The October Shoreham Record Fair is getting closer, and we've been digging through the boxes to put together another selection of FREE 7" singles for our Early Birds.

Pop, Rock, New Wave, Indie, 2 Tone, Reggae and plenty of other sounds from the decade. There should be something for everyone.

You might discover a favourite. You might find something you haven't heard in years. Or you might end up taking home a record you never knew you needed.

These are just a few of the singles we've got lined up for the giveaway.

£1 Early Bird entry from 10am to 12pm, including a FREE 7" single in a brown paper bag.

Free entry from 12pm to 2pm.

SELLER SPOTLIGHT: WAX N SNACKS

Records and snacks. What more do you need?

Next up at the Shoreham Record Fair on Saturday 17th October, we have Wax N Snacks, a family-run mobile record shop based in Tunbridge Wells.

They'll be bringing along a selection of dance-orientated vinyl, new records, merch and, of course, snacks.

From colourful disco vibes to electronic sounds, here's a little taste of what they might have in store.

Come and have a dig. You might find something to dance to, something to eat, or possibly both.

MEET CARLOS – SHOREHAM RECORD FAIR

Hi, I’m Carlos and I organise the Shoreham Record Fair. You can also often find me on Sundays at the Marina car boot, where I usually have several tables of vinyl and CDs.

Here’s a little look at some of the records I’ll be bringing along to the next fair on Saturday 17th October.

As you can probably tell, my musical tastes are pretty varied, so my tables usually have a bit of everything. Vinyl and CDs from different decades, genres and styles. I’m always on the lookout for interesting records, so my stock is constantly changing.

If you’re thinking about selling some records yourself, I have 5 tables available at every fair for collectors who simply want to thin out their collections. I’m also always interested in buying collections or new stock, so feel free to get in touch.

45 TABLES + COLLECTORS' TABLES

45 TABLES OF MUSIC AND 5 OF THEM ARE A LITTLE DIFFERENT.

Around 29 sellers will be filling 45 tables at the October Shoreham Record Fair with vinyl, CDs and music treasures.

We've also reserved 5 tables specifically for collectors selling records from their own collections. They're not professional dealers, so you never know what bargains and unexpected finds might be waiting for you.

If you enjoy having a good dig through boxes, make sure you check out the Collectors' Tables.

WHAT DID YOU FIND AT THE LAST SHOREHAM RECORD FAIR?

Here are a few of the LPs I picked up at the August fair.

A couple of long-time wants, including the Long Tall Texans. Some records I can never resist when I see them: Cumbia, Boogaloo, Bomba, Plena and Afro-Cuban. And a Trojan compilation I’d never come across before, but which turned out to have one of the best rocksteady selections I’ve heard on a compilation.

Our Early Bird offer is back for the October Shoreham Record Fair.

Be one of the first through the door and you'll get a FREE 7" vinyl single from our selection of 80s records.

From pop and rock to new wave, indie and plenty of surprises, there are some great records waiting to be picked up.
