NERD ROCK SHOP

Nerd Rock Shop started life as a spare-time project which was just me and my rusty web coding and SEO experience (from a previous life) seeing if I could start a business doing something I enjoyed.

I love many types of music but my ‘core’ favourites are firmly in the Rock genre; Bowie, Sting, NIN, K.T.Tunstall and Muse. I am also a bona-fide nerd as I have worked in ebusiness, I love Monty Python and I play Dungeons and Dragons (I even do the silly voices). So it was no mistake that my site ended up selling a cross-over of pop culture and rock merchandise.

I started out back in January 2018 by registering some domain names and renting some server space to use for development. I soon outgrew that host and moved to Kinsta who have been amazing and have supported my growth to the point I’m at now. My current webite, https://nerdrockshop.co.uk was officially launched in June 2019 and I’m now ordering and delivering weekly which is great news for a new business.

I’m hoping to keep growing and I thank all of my customers for supporting this new venture.
