Activity Idea 💡

Whether outside or inside, have you ever created a 'book den'...? ⛺️ 📖

This is such a wonderful way of making books and reading super-special, as well as helping to avoid the 'Summer Slide.'

🌟 You could use: blankets, sheets, pillows, materials with different colours and textures, and fairy-lights...

🌟 You could add: notebooks and pens, soft toys, puppets, dressing-up clothes, fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, comics and torches...

🌟 Enjoy a book during the day or at bedtime...

💚 Pop-Up Bookshop 💚

Come and find the perfect title for your bookworms! 📖 🪱

I'm here bright and early at MK hospital for my July 'Pop-Up Bookshop'. Find me in the Main Entrance until 3pm. 💚💚

As well as the usual wide range of titles, suitable from newborn onwards, I also have a Summer 'bargain box.'

It's the perfect opportunity to find books to help keep your family entertained and to encourage a love of reading this Summer. 🌞

Every title purchased contributes towards books being donated across the wards. (Our most recent donation was £500 of titles to Ward 7.) 💚

Thank you so much for all of your support! 🥰

🌞 Summer of Fun! 🌞

Over the last few weeks, I've spotted lots of beautiful butterflies when I've been out and about walking.

It reminded me about taking part in this year's.....

🦋 Big Butterfly Count 🦋

🌸 The Big Butterfly Count is a UK-wide survey aimed at helping assess the health of our environment.

🌸 Taking just 15 minutes, simply count and report the amount and type of butterflies you see.

It's also a wonderful, family-friendly way of connecting with nature. 🌼🌱

🙏 Thankful Thursday! 🙏

I recently received a wonderful surprise parcel in the post... 📦

Each Month, the Usborne Head Office runs an incentive to help encourage consistent sales.

I admit to loving a target, as it's a great way of having something to aim for. 🎯

Every month this year, I've been part of the '300 club' and rehomed at least £300 of beautiful Usborne books.

In May, I was one of the lucky five to have my name drawn out to receive a goody bag as part of this incentive. 🥳

A huge "thank you" to all my wonderful customers and supporters. As much as I love an incentive, you are my real 'why'. 😘
