👉Does your usual routine change during a heatwave...?

By 9am this morning, I had...

✅️ Washed and hung out 2 loads washing.

✅️ Cooked tonight's dinner (steak fajitas 😋).

✅️ Done my gym session.

✅️ Rewarded myself with coffee and cake. 😅

Now enjoying a lovely rest, whilst catching up with the athletics.

Activity Idea 💡

Whether outside or inside, have you ever created a 'book den'...? ⛺️ 📖

This is such a wonderful way of making books and reading super-special, as well as helping to avoid the 'Summer Slide.'

🌟 You could use: blankets, sheets, pillows, materials with different colours and textures, and fairy-lights...

🌟 You could add: notebooks and pens, soft toys, puppets, dressing-up clothes, fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, comics and torches...

🌟 Enjoy a book during the day or at bedtime...

💚 Pop-Up Bookshop 💚

Come and find the perfect title for your bookworms! 📖 🪱

I'm here bright and early at MK hospital for my July 'Pop-Up Bookshop'. Find me in the Main Entrance until 3pm. 💚💚

As well as the usual wide range of titles, suitable from newborn onwards, I also have a Summer 'bargain box.'

It's the perfect opportunity to find books to help keep your family entertained and to encourage a love of reading this Summer. 🌞

Every title purchased contributes towards books being donated across the wards. (Our most recent donation was £500 of titles to Ward 7.) 💚

Thank you so much for all of your support! 🥰
