Sittingbourne Workshop Activating Sittingbourne town centre: a coworking workshop and a pop up shop at 34 High Street funded by the EU through the
RECREATE project.

Workshop 34 is a project delivered by Dan Thompson Studio with East Street Arts, supported by Kent County Council and Medway Council with funds from the EU Recreate project. RECREATE is a European Interreg IVA, Kent County Council and Swale Borough Council funded project involving partners in the South East of England and Northern France. Its aim is to boost economic prosperity by growing new business clusters from the creative industries.

A former town centre arts hub has sold for more than £250,000 alongside dozens of lots at a Kent auction.

Yo ho, me hearties! I (Lloyd) am coming down on Friday for the big and important launch event for the new No 34. I'm aiming to come after Tuttle in London in the morning so will probably arrive about 2pm and then hold court in Mackaris over copious espresso and omelette and chips.

Take a casual glance at the new shop frontage in the Forum Shopping Centre and you could be forgiven for mistaking ‘Bourne Creative’ as a reincarnation of the Workshop 34 project that existed in Sittingbourne High Street some months ago.
