We have now added a SPS coral list
These corals have been grown in the uk for the last 15-20 years
I’m teaming up with a good friend Mark he’s a coral specialist and cares about sustainability just as much as we do
We are doing our best to provide marine fish an corals that have been bred an grown close to our facility in Kent
We do hope to breed other species of marine fish and inverts as well as hoping to set up a coral spawning system to start a new venture for us to be even more sustainable

A new maroon strain has been released from Sea&Reef
The Gold Lighting Maroons

Nice to see there great work on this project
Although Designerclownfishuk bred this strain around 3 years ago

From my findings not all of the offspring went gold but a good 50% did or maybe some took much longer to turn gold with lots of blue’s within the pattern
It was interesting to see lots of these fish have a clear red heart shape on there body

I released these fish just before Valentine’s Day
So I named them the
Gold lighting valentines maroon
I will dig through some pictures and add some

Sea & Reef has been busy releasing new varieties of captive bred fish over the last 3 weeks and today they announced a third captive bred variety in as many

I can certainly see us adding to our breeding genetics this year hopefully 😍

Last month Sea & Reef released a new captive bred designer (January 2023), which is an exclusive designer clownfish that as far as we know, has never been seen
