Had an unexpected visit from the lovely Gillian Coe today and she dropped off another wonderful selection of her felt-work, This masterpiece ‘Having a Gander‘ really caught my eye!

Gillian’s work consists manly of hand dyed Swale dale wool, embroidered free hand stitching, mixed materials and shading. Each piece is a time consuming masterpiece.

My goodness Moorcroft is so expensive, Yes it is and this is why.. this is just one stage of production all done by hand! The tube lining technique is skilfully decorated all by hand and with such expertise! Wow!
