One of my highlights for Christmas this year was a trip to The Royal Albert Hall arranged by my son, Ben. 'Silent Night', one of my late father's favourite carols played here by the Philharmonic Orchestra with the string section in the second half dressed up as Christmas Trees 🌲 Dad would have loved it. ❤

3rd time at The Gliderdrome Boston for BFCH and this Saturday it was for a wonderful gathering for Dogfest 2025. Looking at the posters in backstage and the green room on Saturday night is like looking at 'The List' of rocknroll icons for the 60s & 70s, an incredible history in a Lincolnshire town 💚 makes me proud to be a Yellowbelly 💛

Thinking of my Grandfather today, Donald Conrad Larder, for VE Day who served in The Sixth Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment. Like many he said very little about his war days. He lived a long and happy life in Sleaford and was still working in his 80's 💚

I am really looking forward to this first female fronted festival in my home town. There is nothing easy or glamorous about fronting a band. It takes alot of hard work and commitment with ups and downs and juggling life. But for those of us who do it with passion - we know why we do it 💚🎶
