And to think, this all started back in 2022 with a Cricut, hand-spraying books in my garage, and a deep love for what the mainstream media likes to call “fairy p0rn.”

Fast forward to 2026: we have sold out releases, a powerhouse small team, and a community that refuses to be shamed for what we love to read...

To the (and everyone else clutching their pearls over the fantasy romance genre), if you stopped judging our community for what brings us joy, maybe you’d be selling 75 million copies of your papers, too 😉

We simply wouldn’t be here today without our wonderful artists, who bring our spicy, magical ideas to life in ways we can only dream of; and of course without our beloved community, who support us every step of the way.

Whether you’ve been here since day one or only recently discovered our corner of the book world, your support truly means the world to me.

The Vampire Court is sucked into the high-stakes destruction of Saeris and Kingfisher’s world…🩸🔥

…and it’s time for us to reveal part one of our artwork for the Lilac Library special edition of ‘Brimstone’ by , in collaboration with !

We wanted our dust jacket to evoke the darkness of the land Saeris now rules, which is plagued by blood-sucking beings and home to Ammontraeith’s extravagant throne room. The icicles and frost that adorned our edition of ‘Quicksilver’ have melted away, leaving embers that are truly ‘Brimstone.’☄️

Guru the cat perches on either side of the front, guarding Ammontraeith, whilst the cosmic Tree of Realms and the Twin Blades, Erromar and Selanir, feature on the back.⚔️

On the edge, we tried to showcase even more of this sequel. You’ll see Ammontraeith, with the moon rising overhead as the nocturnal city comes alive beneath. Treacherous mountains divide the view, leading upward to the stronghold above.🏰

We adored all the emotions and heart in Abby Jimenez’s ‘Say You’ll Remember Me’ & ‘The Night We Met’ and we wanted to bring this to life in our special editions. From the fun early dates to the adventures, pets, and pinning, there was so much we could have picked for our artwork!🐶

So, here’s a little insight into the thought processes and decisions we made for this set:

🎡 For our ‘Say You’ll Remember Me’ endpapers, we wanted to draw out the instant chemistry between Sam and Xavier. What better way to do this (we thought) than showing them brimming with attraction on their first and second dates, trapped in an escape room or on a Ferris wheel set against the idyllic backdrop of Santa Monica?!

🎆 In ‘The Night We Met’, the emotion was a little more complex. We tried to showcase Chris and Larissa’s undeniable chemistry in the first endpaper, as they bond with one another (just as friends, of course…) on adventures with Woofarine. We then wanted to take this a step further, showing one of their stolen, intimate moments away from their friends as they realise they’re perfect for each other but can’t be together… yet

Whilst we’ve enjoyed sharing our thoughts, we’ve loved hearing yours about this special edition and can’t wait for it to reach your bookshelves! If you’d like your own set, they’re now on sale on our website 💜
