🌙 Welcome to our very first, Mental Health Check-in!🌙We know how important it is to talk, to be able to have an ear to listen & how special it is to feel heard.
As an ambassador for how important mental health is, we want - no - we NEED you to know, we aren’t just a brand, we aren’t just a small business looking for sales… WE ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT!
We understand that when someone says “I suffer from mental health” that they feel embarrassed, saddened & even maybe inferior but mostly, alone.
Maybe, but more likely than maybe, you’ve been met by the words like “just get on with it”, “back in my day” or “you’ll get over it” but it really isn’t that simple. There isn’t a perfect world where Mental Health is concerned, it isn’t a one size fits all situation & it’s certainly not easy to put into words how it impacts you. Every person is individual, & every persons experience is different.
One of our favourite sayings of all time is “one man’s mountain, is another man’s molehill & visa versa” because that is exactly what mental health is & you cannot compare your experience with someone else’s.
At Vyra Luna, we understand that each day is different, that there is no true pattern & however you feel, whenever you feel it, is 100% valid.
As of today, every weekend, we will be putting out a post for our weekly Mental Health Check-in & we really hope you’ll join in with us, feel safe enough to talk & if you aren’t comfortable with everyone publicly seeing your responses, then rest assured, our inbox is ALWAYS open, we may not reply straight away but we promise - we will always reply.
