Something very special has been taking shape behind the scenes…
Patch, Palette & Paws is a collaboration between Sarah of Handmade for Digdogs and Julie of Patch & Palette — bringing together two very different passions under one creative little business.
🐾 For Sarah, it all starts with her love of dogs.
Handmade for Digdogs grew from Sarah's passion for dogs, sewing and, most importantly, dog rescue. She creates gorgeous handmade nest-style dog beds, all made in her home atelier and made to order using carefully selected designer fabrics, including beautiful limited editions.
The beds are designed to be as practical as they are beautiful — fully washable, with a concealed zip, removable side squabs and a removable centre cushion, making it easy to keep your dog's bed fresh and comfortable.
Sarah also creates beautiful bespoke embroidered pet portraits, turning a favourite photograph of a much-loved pet into a unique stitched keepsake. She also designs and creates limited-edition embroidered and appliquéd cushions, including some gorgeous Christmas designs.
Her love of dogs doesn't stop at creating beautiful things for them. Sarah has a long-standing connection with dog rescue, supporting rescues through her time, fundraising and donations. She is a helper for The Labrador Lifeline Trust and is also part of the fundraising team at Paws for Thought Global Fundraising.
And when she's not sewing, Sarah has nine rescue dogs to keep her very busy! 🐶❤️
🎨 For me, Julie, it's all about creativity.
I've always loved making things, playing with colour, fabrics, textures and different artistic techniques. Patch & Palette is my creative outlet — a place where I can take beautiful materials and turn them into something completely unique.
I make structured handmade tote bags, carefully combining fabrics, colours and patterns to create practical bags with their own individual personality.
I love experimenting, designing and seeing where an idea takes me — and that's what makes handmade so special. No two pieces need to be exactly the same, and there's always another idea waiting to be made!
🧵🎨🐾 Together, Patch, Palette & Paws brings these two worlds together.
Sarah's passion for dogs and rescue, alongside my love of creativity, art, colour and handmade design.
We'll be bringing you beautiful handmade dog products, unique bags, embroidered pieces, cushions and lots of other creative makes — with new ideas and limited editions appearing along the way.
