A fabulous week ahead of us, including a whole weekend off so we can have yet another community day.

And today is ALL Warhammer! It is very rare we have spare tables on a Sunday now with the sheer volume of TTG going on, Whether it's the game or our breakfast that attracts the hoard, we haven't quite figured that one out yet, but either way it's always so good to see everyone down.

We have a wide range of stock from Games Workshop including, but not limited to, 40K, Spearhead, Kill Team and a whole load more...plus anything that isn't on the shelves can be ordered in, with our weekly orders.

So whether you are a seasoned TTGer or totally new, but slightly intrigued, either pop down to see us or drop us a message for more information about what we do and when.

Today is a jam-packed day.

We have a number of tables for SPEARHEAD from 10am. Never payed before? Not a problem, everyone who attends are always willing to help new players, plus we have a few Spearhead kits available to purchase to set you on your journey.

A couple of tables are booked out privately.

Then the biggie...TONIGHT!!
Our BOARD GAME NIGHT is back! Come down, bring one of your own games you would like to introduce someone to or come try a game from our extensive library.

Kitchen is open until 7:30pm and if you fancy having a "light beverage" you are more than welcome to bring your own alcohol, for a small fee.

We look forward to seeing you all at some point today.

For those who didn't know (she may have mentioned it once or twice) Vicky is away from the shop for the next few weeks. She has been planning ahead and has lots of events booked in to keep everyone busy. Jabez, Robin, Becky, Becky's Dan, Robert and Oliver will be here to help and keeping the shop running. Due to other work commitments we are having to slightly change the opening times and on week days we are open we will be opening at 17:30. We hope to see you all soon!

Full house for The Hobbit prerelease last night, and so many of them returned to do it all over again today.

We are now in the depths of Mordor...or maybe just the quiz.

It has been a wicked day today and I am, will always be hugely grateful to each and everyone of you that walks through Geeks' door. It has been buzzing all this week and if I wasn't already hyper enough, with our upcoming holiday, you's have all set me off even more with this weekend.

So thank you peeps...hope your Saturday is being kind to you 😊

What a weekend we are having!

We had our raffle for Marie Curie as well as the Guess How Many Ducks?...

Sofia was the lucky person being the closest for ducks. Actual answer: 889...Sofia's answer: 748!

For the last 2 months Marie Curie has been our chosen charity and a combined effort from the swear jar, raffle, quiz donations and Guess How Many Ducks, we raised an absolutely stonking £680!!!

Astronomical peeps, thank you so much! As some may know the reason it was this charity is because a beautiful lady I know through a book club I have been going to for over 3 years, has sadly lost her husband recently, and the hospice in Newcastle is where he spent a lot of his time, and were really good to the pair of them on their regular visits.

Yesterday was all about Yu-Gi-Oh! Magic and Lorcana. A variety of games on the go and was so lovely to welcome some new people through the door looking for board game recommendations while we have our 20% off (ends tonight at 6pm)

Today is all about Warhammer and a very special MYSTERY 2 DRAFT for Magic.

All go in the land of Geeks HQ, and I can't see it slowing down this week with some very, VERY special events coming this way!

⭐ 8pm the GRAND RAFFLE, all in aid of Marie Curie. Monies from the raffle, Guess How Many Ducks? and our shop swear jar will all be combined to give this wonderful charity a pot of funds from the last 2 months.

We will reveal our next charity tomorrow for the months of August/September.
