TA has become one of the biggest associations in the area. Now 11 years on, the STA is responsible for the organisation and funding of the village's biggest annual event in Spondon Alight - the Christmas lights switch on - as well as putting up flags and other decorations for events during the year, all of which encourage residents and visitors alike to come to our village. Working closely with other associations in the area, our aim is to keep Spondon as vibrant and popular as ever!
