George's Food Hub

We’re open from 9.30-11.30am today at St Augustine’s School, Kesteven Road.

Thanks to our generous donors, including Tesco, Lidl, Nisa, Riverford and The Cornish Bakery, we’ve got lots and lots of food that you can help us to prevent from going to waste.

Pick up some potatoes, save some salad and bring home some bread, all on a pay-as-you-feel basis. All money donated goes towards the cost of running our hubs - our fridges and freezers, our collections van - you can help us keep going.

Everyone welcome - this food needs eating!

We’re always on the lookout for volunteers - either to collect from the many generous businesses who donate to us, or to help with the running of the hubs, ensuring that the donated food doesn’t go to waste and that we continue to feed bellies, not bins.

If you feel like you could spare an hour or two a week to help out, please contact us via private message and we’ll get you started.

The Christmas meal in 2024 was so incredible, and we're delighted to be able with The White Hart and support from Blands to do it all again!

Companies and volunteers have joined forces to provide a free pub meal for dozens of people.
