Our bookshop database has also recently been updated with lots of new titles. The database covers railways, road vehicles (including buses, trams and trolley buses), military and aviation. This is available on line here:

The Bucks Rail Bookshop at Quainton has been restocked for the new season and is open on forthcoming Steaming and Special Event days, and during the week Monday to Wednesday by appointment - call Richard on 07526 000719 .

Welcome to our new page!

We are located at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre and are here to raise funds for this special heritage railway. The bookshop is solely run by volunteers and relies entirely on donated books.

We have a large selection of pre-owned railway, aviation, military and road transport books. Plus we have some fiction and other non-fiction, as well as some model railway items. Some of our books are rare and collectibles.

We are generally here on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays, and during the Steaming Season (April-October), we are open on Sundays when the whole heritage railway is open to the public.

We have thousands of books, including some rare and collectible ones! We specialise in railway books, as well as military, aviation and road transport. We also have other non-fiction and fiction books, and a selection of pre-owned model railway items.

We are here for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; and on Sundays during the Steaming Season (April to October) when the whole site is open to the public.
